Sorry for my delay in posting another photo walk. I have gone out and about here and there, but only for an hr at a time so even though I've gotten some good photos they weren't enough to showcase a location properly.
I've been to Moore State Park many times, but I realized I hadn't blogged about it yet. I've done two photo sessions there and many wanderings there as well. They have some nice paths, plenty of spots for photo sessions and even some open areas.
I would like to do some more senior photo sessions there as there are so many nice spots to choose from.
This is the main entrance. You go up this path and you'll find the parking lot on the left.
It is a dog friendly park as well. This is one of the many trails you can follow.
If you look left from the previous photo you'll find this roadway. Its only use for maintenance and park vehicles, but that's the main path to get down to the pond and waterfalls.
I stopped along the path as I noticed there was some nice light coming through the trees.
This was another patch of greenery that caught my attention.
This is another trail that met the main path.
This is the lake near the end of the path on the right. Its always very calm and pretty. There are a few wooden seats there and you'll often find people enjoying the day with their family and pets.
This body of water continues on underneath this covered deck type structure. And it continues on down to another waterfall. This is also a very nice spots for portraits.
I really liked the light and shadows in this area and felt it looked better in black and white.
This is a reflection on the water. Not my usual photo, but I like how it turned out.
This is another angle where you can see how the water flows beneath the small building and falls below.
This is from further down the path looking back.
