This week's photo is from a week ago. After some heavy snow I had gone out with my fuji to take some photos. I don't often take wide photos or landscapes, but I wanted to explore around the neighborhood and see what peeked my interest.
Its funny because I haven't gone wandering aimlessly since I got my first DSLR back in 2010. Having the Fuji system has really got me to re-explore the things near me. Probably a good thing as I was starting to get used to going further out to get photos. Sometimes just going about in familiar places can also bring about decent photo opportunities.
The following photo is of the softball field next to the Old Salter School. There was plenty of snow on the ground, but that's ok. I also wanted to capture some of the sky as it does get a nice blue from time to time in New England.
At the time of posting this we have had two additional snow storms.
