I apologize for not being more consistent with the photo of the week. I've been shooting a lot, but mostly in the photo walks which an already be appreciated in the "exploring" category listed to the right of this post.
So, earlier today I head out to Moore State Park and wandered around a little. Its still winter time so there is snow, not much green around and lots of brown tones everywhere. I headed out with my 35mm and wanted to see what I'd found.
I realized that lately I'd been trying to take a lot of wider angle photos, which is far from my comfort zone. In any case I wanted to see what I'd find and started snapping away. From time to time my eye catches a sort of detail and I want to capture it. This week I'd like to share two photos from my walk about today.
This one is a slightly wider shot, but I wanted to capture the bushes with the barren trees behind them. To the right there is a small bridge which gives everything a sense of location.
Much further down the path I saw some areas that were beginning to melt over the grassy areas. This little patch caught my eye. I enjoyed the shapes of the ice about to melt. Promising Spring is right around the corner.
Both are very different shots, but taken with the same lens. Thanks for visiting.
