If you live near Worcester or are planning to visit the area this is a place you need to visit. The Crompton Collective is a place where many local makers collaborate to showcase and sell their work. But, there is a waiting list and an approval process to be able to showcase your work. This means that you'll always have quality items to see and purchase, but you'll also be guaranteed a good variety of items. I've been there are a few times and its remarkable how many new things I see every time I go there. The Crompton Collective is located at 138 Green St in a classic mill building and is very easy to get to from the highway.
The Crompton Collective is great for:
Seeing local talent and a lot of unique pieces
Great place to showcase your work
Great for photographers looking for props and local items
Adding to your existing collection
Finding hard to find items
The Crompton Collective is not your average antique shop or collectors shop. You really have to go check it out for yourself to see that there is something in there for everyone.
As a photographer I could spend hours taking photos there. There is so much to see and at every turn you see something new.
To many Crompton Collective has quickly become a local landmark. Its easy to get to, looks amazing, has top notch items for sale and Amy, the owner, is super friendly and very passionate about what she does.
The second reason for my visit was to check out the White Room. As of 2015 the Crompton Collective will be hosting weddings in their White Room and I have the privilege to be one of the first photographers to cover a wedding there. I'll admit that I'm beyond a little excited about that. Amy was kind enough to show me around and also let me snap a few photos here and there.
Disclaimer: These are only a few quick photos I took today. You really have to visit to get the whole experience.
I can't wait to go back!!
