Last week I got in my Fuji X-E2 with the kit lens. For a kit lens its actually quite good with great optics, metal build and a low floating aperture. I practiced with it and took some photos as you can see from some of my most recent posts.
But, I am a prime lens guy and was pretty pumped when I put in my order for the 35mm 1.4 lens. This is also an XF lens.
These are a few photos of both lenses. I will be referencing my Fuji lenses in some of my future posts so feel free to check back in to find out more about them and how they perform.
The fuji cameras and lenses come in a very nice black box with black padding. All their lenses come with hoods which is a nice treat. I'm used to hoods being included on only the nicer brand lenses. The 35mm is about an inch and a half shorter than the 18-55mm lens so it will add to the cameras stealthiness.
I have just put in an order on the 60mm 2.4 fuji lens which also happens to be a macro lens. I'm told it is sharper than both of these lenses. Also, my second X-E2 is in order, so I'll be well equipped for upcoming portraits and weddings.
