It seems like I'm getting to know both my camera and Worcester a little better these past few weeks. I've been pretty happy exploring all over, much like when I bought my first DSLR years ago. It really is fun exploring, and seeing things differently than before. I'm not much of a walker, but having a little cabin fever this winter and getting the new cameras have made me really want to get out there.
We are not in April and the weather has really started to change for the better. Yesterday was just phenomenal, actually today is nicer, but I've been busy. So I headed to Elm Park briefly and then made my way towards Main st.
Its really nice to look up and to see some green. Spring is here!
There's a lot of construction going on at Elm Park so this was a more flattering angle to show you the pond and part of Park Ave. Behind me are fences, a missing bridge and lots of tire tracks. Hopefully they complete their projects soon as Elm Park is always a go to place in the warmer weather.
So I walked past some residential areas and headed to Main st. This is at the corner of main st across from city hall which you'll see in the next photo.
I'm really enjoying the nice blue skies!
I was too lazy to cross Main st for this shot. Pretty busy part of the street here.
Another shot of this tower.
And this is more of a street view.
And this is the back side of city hall. Which you've seen in a previous photo walk, but I tried to get the full building in this shot.
There are some other interesting parts of downtown Worcester that I'd like to explore in the upcoming days.
I really hope the weather stays as nice as it has been and that things start blooming. I plan on heading out somewhere tomorrow.
