For 2014 I am introducing The Classic.
I'm pretty excited about it as I've been a long time fan of black and white photos. This will allow you to have your wedding day immortalized in classic and elegant black and white.
How this began:
I've always appreciated black and white photos. Growing up I've seen tons of them in museums, books and people's homes as well. There are timeless photos from the old days still very relevant today.
It even reminds me of my photography class in high school where I photographed with film in black and white for a whole semester. I recall working in the dark room and developing my own film.
I tend to shoot mostly in color, but do enjoy some black and white images as well. I had a client a while back who ONLY wanted color photos so I remember having to go back and re-edit all my black and white photos and that took a long time. It seems that because of that client (who did hire me again) I have been going further and further away from black and white photos. And I'm not sure if I'm happy about that. I need to go back to what I enjoy and what is actually part of my style.
This collection will be primarily in black and white. I understand that couples have spent a lot of money on their rings, bouquets, center pieces, cakes etc and those are available in color. But to me, weddings are all about the emotions, the cute moments and happiness. I can't find many better ways of showing that than in black and white.
So now "The Classic" will become a staple part of what I offer.
Some will love it, but I know its not for everyone.
If you enjoy color the Forever Collection might be right for you.
