If you know me you'd know that I truly enjoy Netflix. I finally tried it out about a year ago and have been using it as my primary source of movie/show watching since then.
I know some people like it and some people don't, but for me it works great.
I am able to 'discover' different shows that I would have never considered and because its one click away I can watch and try. Of course there are some awful shows on there and some movies that easily went straight to video, but there is so much to see.
I found myself watching more nature shows, and biography shows and even some sport documentaries.
Then, I look further and found some interesting british television series I never knew existed.
Then, of course, I found those great shows I used to watch, but in bits and pieces.
Now I could go back and watch them from start to finish, no commercials, no waiting a week to see what happens next.
But, that is only the start.
I have an android phone, and android tablet and a macbook pro where I could watch these 30 feet + away from my tv if I wanted to.
How great is that?
These are a few shows that I have truly enjoyed:
The adventures of Merlin
Sons of Anarchy
The Walking Dead
Lie to me
Always sunny in Philadelphia
Every month I seem to find a new series to get into. And Netflix is doing a good job at signing with new companies such as the Cartoon Network and Disney etc.
Their movie selection still needs to develop, which it will, but for the price tag of under $10/month it is a fantastic otpio
