Wedding season is here. How exciting!
To start off my 2015 wedding season I had the privilege of working with Lauren and Andrew on their special day. When we spoke on the phone prior and I found out that the wedding would be in the Masonic Building I was very intrigued. Located near Chandler st. and Main st. in Worcester this building is quite impressive. I've driven by it many times and was always curious to see the inside of the building.
So when Saturday rolled around I made sure to show up early to be able to explore a tiny bit. And, we were treated by some snow!
There are several floors, and halls, and all kinds of great details everywhere.
When I arrived I met Andrew and some of his family and was able to admire the function hall. Soon after I met Lauren as she was finishing up getting ready on the upper level.
Everyone found their place and soon the wedding began.
Please enjoy some photos of this awesome wedding.
I was told this was one of the first weddings ever held in the Masonic Building. That's awesome!
Congratulations again Lauren and Andrew!!
A wedding day is exciting to everyone involved. Of course the bride and the groom are super nervous, happy, excited and full of emotions on the day of, but we sometimes forget about the parents. They have watched their child grow up, witnessed all their milestones and are now ready to take that big step forward.
I remember this wedding from a few years ago. Everyone was all dressed and ready to go. We were getting ready for the formal photos and while some were chatting, others were making sure they looked good. We were standing on a small grassy field and figuring out the exact sequence of photos to be taken. I then noticed the groom and his mom talking. It only took a moment to see how proud she was of her son and while he joked around with her a little she couldn't help but tear up.
Being able to witness moments like these are why I'm a wedding photographer.
