I owned this lens a couple years ago for a bit, but am excited to own it again. Its a super slim lens that fits on your fuji camera and makes it crazy compact. It works great for landscapes, travel and street photography.
The photos I've taken here are from the Clinton Dam. I've been there many times, but I tried to get some different photos this time. Also, I was trying out shooting in JPEG mode with classic chrome. It has a unique retro look, but perhaps it's not the best mode for landscape style photography. No matter, it was really neat trying it out.
Please check out some photos from my mini-walk today. Yes, its the middle of winter so not a lot of color to show off here in Massachusetts, but still nice to walk around.
All photos were shot with my Fuji X-T1 and the 27mm 2.8 pancake lens.
Also, all were shot with classic chrome.
I'll have to shoot in a different mode next time.
Let me know what you think.
Just looking at the photos here I'm noticing that the blues are a little deeper and the blacks are deeper as well.
I think that these two photos above are very interesting in their feel. The film simulation mode I used is supposed to give the film look to them and these are interesting with the deep blacks, shapes, and sky. I find them the most interesting photos taken on this trip. Hmm.
Very interesting using this film mode. Not sure if I like it or think its just ok. None of these are edited btw.
